TRANSPARENT PROCESS

LinguiSearch utilizes a transparent process specifically developed to generate optimal messaging.

This methodology relies on individual interviews that are iterative in nature (e.g., the stimulus changes from interview to interview).  LinguiSearch moderator/analysts employ a psychiatric interviewing technique, and apply real-time semiotic and language analyses to meet the desired objectives.  The process is divided into four key steps described below.

VISION

Vision

VISION

The goal of our projects are to develop a message blueprint and key message elements which are:

  • Compelling,
  • Motivating and exciting,
  • Believable for the product,
  • Consistent with the product positioning,
  • Compatible with broader corporate objectives,
  • Effective at communicating the desired messages.

The first step in this process is to make sure that the Vision of the project and the methodology are in align with one another.   To do this we start by:

  • Making sure the project integrates with your Business Plan
  • The research is designed correctly
  • We are making the best use of your resources
  • Objectives for the project and clearly identified and align with your goals

There are many vendors who will take on a job, but few who become a part of your team who is concerned with your ablility to meet you overall objects.

MODERATING

LinguiSearch consultants are trained to not only pose the appropriate question, but to critically listen to respondent replies as they relate to overall project goals and objectives, probing, as appropriate, to gain maximum depth and insight.

  • Interviews are conversational in nature. We critically listen to respondents to understand the ideas that are truly important, and to identify words and phrases that best express those ideas.
  • Discussion guides are designed to dig beneath surface responses, explore underlying thoughts and attitudes, and capture true respondent mindset.
  • We carefully probe generalizations, ambiguities, contradictions, gaps, and word meaning to build a complete picture of respondent mindset, attitudes, preferences, and decision-making.

ANALYSIS

Consultants critically analyze language as data to identify and map the core meaning and motivational potential of specific language.  Particularly effective in separating the intellectually interesting from potentially behaviorally motivating.  Linguistic analysis identifies how respondents’ use of specific words and phrases impact:

  • Their understanding of and reaction to a message.
  • The meaning they take away from the communication.
  • The message’s motivational capability, and
  • How the message fits into a respondent’s decision-making process.

This permits us to identify how the sequencing of message elements (ordering of words, phrases, and ideas), the context or situation within which the communication occurs, and the specific words and phrases with which the message is crafted impact a respondents’ understanding of and reaction to the message, and to make recommendations on changes designed to maximize impact.
